This new field guide outlines how independent school leaders can effectively manage their campuses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 152-page eBook details program tracking strategies (metrics and indicators for assessing, fine tuning and reporting about your school’s response), stakeholder communication, health screening policies, preventative measures, isolation and quarantine procedures, cleaning and disinfection, ventilation and plumbing, student activities, childcare, campus residences and more.
NBOA members must “purchase” the book at $0 to access it. Add the book to your cart and check out. If you do not already have an NBOA Bookstore account, which is distinct from your NBOA log in, you will need to create one. You will not need to enter credit card information. You will receive emails that confirm your account information and explain how to access the eBook in any browser.
To download or print the eBook, use the print function in the menu of the eReader (on the left-hand side). Because the eBook is a very large file, it will take at least 5 minutes (up to 30 minutes in some cases) to load. Eventually you will see a download button. When you press it, the copy will download with a watermark. From there you can print. These guardrails are to protect NBOA's investment in this product and your membership value, and so we ask that you do not share the document outside of essential staff at your school. This eBook will be available to nonmembers for purchase ($299) the first week of September.
